Definition

 

A lightweight non-magnetic cart that incorporates rugged suspension.

 

It can be pushed or towed over varying terrain (max. speed 20km/h) maximising the efficient utilisation of up to 15 sensors, over a 5m coverage.

 

The cart can be rapidly disassembled to lengths no longer than 2.2 metres, for practical stowage and transportation.

 

Frame Assembly & Construction

 

26mm diameter carbon fibre tube, no longer than 2.2m.  Capped with aluminium plugs and ferrules.

 

Acetyl clamps, left and right hand, with integral brass or stainless M6 screws to attain clamping pressure and negative pressure to release tubes.

 

All screws operated by 10mm AF socket tool.

 

Sensor Bar

38mm diameter carbon fibre tube with protective aluminium plugs at both ends.

​

2 or 4 metre span.

​

2 metre sensor bars, clamped together or used individually.

​

Bespoke lengths on request.

Suspension

 

Suspension stiffness can be varied to different loads and terrain.  Extra leaf springs can be added.
